This chapter focuses on understanding and working with polynomial and rational functions. Students will learn how to graph polynomials, factor and solve polynomial equations, and apply Vieta’s Formula to connect roots and coefficients. We also explore graphing rational functions and applying these concepts to real-world problems. Throughout the chapter, students will tackle challenging problems that combine polynomials and rational functions, building confidence in analyzing, solving, and graphing a variety of functions.
